I hope you guys had a fantastic weekend! I just wanted to make a quick update on what’s going on in my life right now.
Well, I have lots and lots of homework. I have to write so many papers, it’s extremely tiring. The good news is that I finished my 15-page paper that was due tomorrow yesterday, so that was great. Right now, I’m working on my 7-10 page paper that was originally due Tuesday but the professor pushed it back until Thursday. Thank God because I only have 1 and 1/3 page done. So, I’m going to work on that all night. Yesterday I worked on my 15-page paper all day and it got done. Wish me luck!
The other thing I did today was grocery shopping. I made sure to pick out natural, old-school vegan foods. I watched Jenna Marble’s vegan video and I got tons of ideas. So here’s what I picked up: (well my dad paid for it lol)
- Baby carrots
- Salad bag
- Frozen broccoli and cauliflower – I heard that these aren’t the healthiest so I might just pick out a raw bag
- Frozen mixed berries and strawberries
- Frozen spinach
- Beans- we’re Mexican lol
- Unsalted cashews
- Diet Coke
- Sugar-free coffee creamer
- Lite orange juice
I’m thinking about turning to unsweetened cashew milk instead of the almond, buy cashew butter instead of peanut butter, and I want to try soy protein powder and hummus. I want to see if I can follow Jenna’s old vegan diet. She claimed that it helped her lose weight and stay healthy and energized. So, I’ll keep you guys updated on that.
That’s basically it lovelies. I’m going to go work on this 7-10 page political science paper now.
