Daily food journal: Q&A, milk, Taylor Swift anorexic?

Hello everyone,

I want to post my daily food log, what’s going on in my life, and an interesting idea I had. Let’s get down to business.

Meal Plan:

Breakfast: skinny latte (85)

Lunch: salad (45)

Dinner: veggie burger and veggies (95)

Snacks: water, Diet Coke, sugar-free gum (5), fruit (50), non-fat yogurt (80)

Total: 360 calories-pretty good! I eat the usual guys, in case you haven’t noticed.

My Day:

Nothing interesting happened. My dad bought me 2% cows milk and I freaked. This scares me because it shows how sick I really am. I was so scared to even touch that bottle of milk. It’s organic and I LOVE cows milk, but I couldn’t even look at it. I went to return it. I made a big deal for no reason and I feel really bad. However, one good thing did come out of this. I exchanged the milk for unsweetened vanilla almond milk. It’s only 30 calories, less than one gram of sugar, the fat is scary, though. Out of 30 calories, 25 of them are from straight up fat. My skim milk is higher calorie but tastes good in coffee, has a lot more protein, all natural, and no fat. I’m going to try it and see how it goes; definitely not in coffee, though. I’ll probably miss my lattes. If I like it, I’ll stick to it. Let’s see how it goes.

Another thing I did is that I watched this video. Of course, the video is about my skinny love, Taylor Swift. It’s 73 question interview with Vogue. The video is okay. Honestly, the setting looks like she’s in a porno. Oh, and it’s incredibly rehearsed. Anyways, I could care less about all that. All I cared about is the fact that she actually talked about food. Taylor always makes sure not to talk about her diet. It was pretty interesting to hear what my thinspo love had to say about food.

Let’s see:

Her cocktail of choice: vodka and Diet Coke. I think she ruined alcohol for me.

Her favorite food “if calories were not a thing” is chicken tenders.

Her drink of choice is coffee.

She always has to have hummus in her refrigerator.

Her drive-thru option is a burger, fries, and a chocolate shake.

The last thing she baked was a dairy free, gluten free cake.

The last thing she made was a gluten free pizza.

She was working out hard for the Grammys.

Her favorite cake was the one she got on her 25th birthday from Milkbar.

What I learned: Taylor is definitely a yo-yo ana dieter. This means that she goes periods of time where she doesn’t eat a lot/starves (think tour=crop tops, shorts, Grammys=dress, cameras, etc.) and other periods of time where she eats normally/binges (after tour, no album coming up, etc). The way she talks about food is an ana way of thinking. When someone asks you about your favorite food, you say your favorite food like tacos, burgers, ice cream, etc. Taylor said, “if calories were not a thing” this shows that she focuses too much on calories and not on food. She does not eat healthy. There is nothing healthy in Diet Coke. Taylor is ‘afraid of food’ and eats low-calorie, not healthy. Get this in  your head: low-calorie does not equal healthy. Taylor has made other interesting remarks over food. She once said, “I love that food but those are high-calorie days for me.” She also said after her tour, “I want to eat nothing but carbs.” Her yo-yo diet also explains why her weight varies/unstable weight. Taylor Swift is an ana! I feel so good knowing this. We are not alone, anas. Taylor is with us! #anapride

Last thing: I forgot to say that it was my dad’s birthday yesterday! Love you daddy!

  1. Omg I agree! I was like “what..??” That girl just let slipped about “if calories weren’t a thing” at least now I feel she is a little more real! I’ve always loved Tay Tay but common girl we all know you don’t get that thin by eating whatever you feel like! Omg just imagine if Taylor read pro ana sites like ours haha! 😂 if so I love you Taylor! ❤️❤️😂😂

    1. Love this! I completely agree. Many fans have always claimed that Taylor is naturally that skinny and eats what she wants. Newsflash: I’ve been saying this for like years now and she finally admitted that she has to work hard and does not eat what she wants. She’s a role model she’s not going to say that she diets. That however, slipped out! Comes to show how ‘naturally skinny’ she is; she can’t even name her favorite food without talking about calories. OMG! I’m sure Taylor knows that she’s a thinspo which is why she never talks about dieting. Haha! Taylor you got that thinspo bod!

      1. I get why Tay doesn’t talk about diet and her weight and all because she has got to be very aware she is top thinspo stuff! Her public relations team is probably very upset she let this slip! I guess I can see it both ways, but just thinking selfishly I love that she let this slip! 😝 does that make me a bad person?? 🙊

        1. Haha! I’m kinda glad because I can probably say, “I told you so” to all the fans that said she’s naturally just very skinny! Hey, she worries a whole lot about calories too! It also makes her seem more relatable. But still, I don’t think her public image representative was too happy lol. I’m sure she’s on here reading these comments lol.

          1. Haha just imagine being ana and then finding YOURSELF as thinspo (omg that would be sooo trippy!) omg did I tell you I broke my F-ing ankle so now NO exercise for at least 6-8 weeks!! The first night I was like crying myself to sleep!! I think I’m going to find a gym because I’m sure they’ll be able to find a workout that doesn’t use my ankle! I can’t just have 6-8 weeks off ana because of this! Liz do you have whatsapp or anything like that? Or do you just blog of here?

          2. Oh my God! That would be too much for me lol. I’m so sorry to hear about your ankle :/. How did you hurt it? You can’t exercise for 6-8 weeks? Wow! That sucks 😦 I am so sorry to hear that hun. Please take care of yourself though, you’ll see that time will fly and pretty soon you’ll be your very best again :). I guess my biggest recommendation is focus on your diet and make sure it’s as clean and low-cal as possible and maybe some very light exercise like walking. I actually don’t have a whatsapp or anything like that. I have my personal Facebook and Twitter. I do have a Twitter for this blog. I’m thinking about making a kik! As you can see, I’m not huge on social media lol. I’m definitely going to make something for messaging though!
